Rent is freely agreed at signature; statutory rules apply on revision (possible every 3 years, art. L. 145-38 French Commercial Code) and renewal. Failing agreement, the renewed rent must match the rental value but is capped by the commercial rent index (art. L. 145-34), unless a notable change in local commercial factors justifies uncapping — in which case increases apply in yearly 10% steps (2014 Act). Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court president, ruling on written memoranda. The firm assists you throughout the amicable or judicial procedure: preliminary memorandum, conciliation, fixed-date summons, expert appraisal, rent setting, appeal and option right.
